Permaculture is about creating sustainable human habitats by following nature’s patterns. Whether you want to improve your garden, house or neghbourhood, permaculture’s principles, ethics and design methods can help you in this process. During this course you will learn about the principal ideas of permaculture, and get a chance to apply them to different situations invarious aspects of your life.
We will focus on Portobello’s Community Orchard. During the weekend, we will explore what this space might look like, and how it could be the best possible resource for people living around it.
Tomas Remiarz has taught permaculture design since 1997. He has advised and been involved in a number of community projects around the country.
